Bruno Maniaudet Bastos, as a first year purple belt,
dominated the Adult Light Feather division at this year’s Pan Ams jiu jitsu competition. The Pan Ams
hosted is hosted every year by IBJJF, and brings top athletes from all over the
world. Bruno, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, demonstrated poise, skill and
transition that was noted and talked about the Gracie’s at the tournament that
day. “‘Bruno Bastos’ is a competitor to be watched, not just at the purple belt
level, but for years to come, and up through the black belt divisions.”
