2013 World Jiu Jitsu Championship Results

The 2013 Mundials, also known as the IBJJF Jiu Jitsu Championship, took place just 2 weeks ago. Competitors came in from all over the world to bring their skills to the mat. Training camps took place weeks and even months before the event to help competitors prepare for one of the largest, most competitive, Jiu Jitsu competitions in the world.

A lot of heart was left out on the mats, with competitors representing various different teams. And the one thing that help Gold winners become victorious, was heart an determination.

Below are the results for the Blue Belt division in the 2013 World Jiu Jitsu Championship which took place in Long Beach California. The blue belt division includes the Juvenile, Female, and Adult divisions at each weight class.

Pan Kids Jiu Jitsu Weight Classes 2013

The above chart shows the 2013 IBJJF Pan Kids BJJ Weight Classes, and includes kids jiu jitsu weight classes for Might-Mite, Pee-Wee, Junior, and Teen divisions. There are different weight requirements depending upon the type of gi the child or teen wears to compete and weigh-in. A light weight gi, or summer kimono, and a single weave gi (which is slightly heavier than a summer gi).

2013 World Jiu Jitsu - The Mundial Championship is approaching!

The initial registration deadline is quickly approaching (April 30th), and is the last day to register for just $97.  After April 30th, registration price goes up to $115 until May 10th, and then up again to $130, until the final registration deadline on May 21st. The price alone is a pretty good incentive to register early!

The brackets still remain pretty thin, but we are expecting many more registration to be coming in the next couple of days.

The 2013 Mundials will take place again in Long Beach California, in the iconic Pyramid at Cal State Long Beach. (1250 Bellflower Blvd, 90804)

Spectator tickets range from $10-$15 per day, with Saturday and Sunday priced at $15 per day. Entrance is free for kids under 12.
