2013 World Jiu Jitsu - The Mundial Championship is approaching!

The initial registration deadline is quickly approaching (April 30th), and is the last day to register for just $97.  After April 30th, registration price goes up to $115 until May 10th, and then up again to $130, until the final registration deadline on May 21st. The price alone is a pretty good incentive to register early!

The brackets still remain pretty thin, but we are expecting many more registration to be coming in the next couple of days.

The 2013 Mundials will take place again in Long Beach California, in the iconic Pyramid at Cal State Long Beach. (1250 Bellflower Blvd, 90804)

Spectator tickets range from $10-$15 per day, with Saturday and Sunday priced at $15 per day. Entrance is free for kids under 12.

2013 Pan Ams Jiu Jitsu Championship Results

The 2013 Pan Ams Jiu Jitsu Championship took place this past weekend, bringing Jiu Jitsu competitors from all over the world, representing hundreds of great Jiu Jitsu schools and academies. Overall Alliance team scored the most points in both the Male and Female Adult categories, Atos in second for Male Adult, and Graice Humaita in second for Female Adult.

2013 Pan Jiu Jitsu Championship - Irvine, California

This year's IBJJF Pan Am Jiu Jitsu Championship will take place in Irvine, California, at the Bren Events Center. The competitor list is already about 45+ pages long. The registration deadline is approaching in about one week, so we are expecting more registrations to come in at the last minute. We are excited for this year's competition on the mat at the 2013 Pan Championships!

Gracie Jiu Jitsu in Miami

Gracie Jiu Jitsu is known for providing some of the most elite Jiu Jitsu academies and training in the world. Gracie Jiu jitsu is commonly referred to as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and is a martial arts combat sport, and a self defense system that focuses on ground fighting and grappling. Many attribute the start of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to the Gracie family, as they adapted Judo JuJitsu techniques to develop the sport.
If you are looking for great Gracie Jiu Jitsu academies in Miami, or in the South Florida area, there are several great options in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County), Sunny Isles (Miami Dade County) and Pembroke Pines (Broward County). These academies are branches of the Valente Brothers Gracie Jiu Jitsu schools.

The Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy Headquarters and main academy is located of southern California, in Torrance. 

Registration NOW OPEN: 2013 IBJJF Pan Ams Jiu Jitsu Championship

The registration opened today for the 2013 IBJJF Pan American Jiu Jitsu Championship tournament. This year's Jiu Jitsu Pan Ams will take place in Irvine, California, at the Bren Events Center at UCAL Irvine.

IBJJF San Francisco Open Competitor List 2013

The 2013 IBJJF San Francisco Open will take place this upcoming Sunday, February 24th. This year's San Francisco BJJ open will take place at the Kezar Pavilion.

IBJJF Houston Open Tournament Results 2013

2013 IBJJF Houston Jiu Jitsu Open results are now available. With Gracie Barra taking the lead in academy results at the Houston Open, with 232 points. BJJ Revolution Team and Nova Uniao came in second and third respectively, with 190 and 170 total points for their teams.
